Responsibilities

The Director of Operations (DOO), Firestone Liberia (FSLB), will oversee the company’s supply chain operations including manufacturing, logistics and technical services.

Reporting to the General Manager, 
the DOO will be a key member of FSLB’s leadership team, contributing to the company’s strategic direction and performance.  

The DOO will lead 4 key initiatives:

1) ensuring FSLB is ‘future fit’ in terms of optimizing rubber 
manufacturing capacity;

2) identifying, training, and deploying talent;

3) implementing systems to ensure 
FSLB is a center of excellence in safety and manufacturing efficiency.  

Minimum Qualifications 
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years’ experience in a progressive agribusiness career, covering, manufacturing operations, logistics and technical services.   
Preferred Qualifications 
Master’s degree in engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience in agricultural estates’ management  at Director level.

Proven leadership and project management skills.

Experience in managing P&L’s, 
operating TSR and RSS manufacturing facilities and implementing sustainability programs.
