• Ensure CCTV camera’s installed in all branches, offsite ATM points and server rooms

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES


 Strategy & Markets


·       Actively champion development and preparation of strategies for security


·       Co-ordinate activities that ensure current operations, practices and processes are in alignment with corporate objectives and best practices. 


Customer


 ·       Liaison between the bank, security companies and Law Enforcement Agencies


·       Encourage adherence to Bank’s Health and safety policy by all staff


·       Participate in screening / vetting of staff e.g. stewards and drivers etc.


·       Participate in periodic meetings internal & external


·       Maintain a professional manner to build customer confidence and trust


·                 ·        Manage strategic relationships between the bank and embassies, hotels, travel                          agents/ airlines.


·                ·     Participate in periodic internal and external meetings.


 Operations


·       Monitor and sensitize stakeholders of developments  and anticipated threats and security tips for curbing same


·       Constant review and implementation of the Bank’s Security policy


·       Effective utilisation and monitoring of Security Installations and gadgets


·       Periodic conduct of security and emergency drills


·       Plan and implement security detail for executive personnel, bank events and dignitary visits


·       Participate in investigations and intelligence gathering


·       Constantly seek ways to contribute to and improve upon the bank’s quality objectives and the quality management systems as applicable to security


·       Drive service & productivity to meet service delivery standards while always adhering to the highest compliance and regulatory requirements.


·       Ensure quality records and prompt submission of internal and regulatory periodic report for security


·                 ·   Responsible for all protocol, travel, transportation and accommodation queries bank                 wide.


·                 ·     Support planning, logistics and documentation requirements for official travels                         including securing travel visas or immigration documents, airport check-ins etc.


·                 ·    Ensure quality record entries and management


·                 ·   Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


People


·       Coordination of security operatives across the bank


·       Monitor / manage performance of subordinates against pre-assigned goals


·       Organize training for guards and FAB staff on matters bordering on security


 Reports


·       Weekly; on  branch patrols


·       Monthly; security and safety on all bank facilities including directors residences security gadgets and installations engagement with police and other law enforcement agencies


·       Quarterly; visit to up country branches, training of guards/staff, country risk and security


      ·    Half yearly report on fire drill
