Job Summary
The Retail Manager will be responsible for spearheading the development and expansion of the business especially the retail segment for both SMEs and individual clients. The primary objective of this role is to drive growth, enhance market presence, and increase profitability through innovative commercial strategies and targeted marketing initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving business development and effective marketing strategies.
Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:



  • Develop and execute end to end strategies for growing the SME and individual client segments, aligning with overall business goals.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adapt strategy and improve market penetration

  • Set sales targets and KPIs, and monitor performance against goals.


Commercial Strategy :


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire and retain SME and individual clients, utilizing direct sales, partnerships, and digital channels.

  • Manage and optimize distribution channels to enhance reach and efficiency, including agents, and digital platforms.

  • Develop and extend sales distribution channel

  • Identify and pursue strategic business development opportunities, including partnerships and alliances, to expand market presence.

  • Get more value from customers through upsale and cross sales 


Marketing Strategy:


  • Oversee the creation and execution of targeted marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content creation, and traditional advertising, to drive customer engagement and acquisition.

  • Utilize customer data and insights to develop personalized marketing strategies and optimize campaign effectiveness.


Team Leadership:


  • Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial and marketing teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving targets and driving results.



  • Provide training and resources to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge


 Operational Efficiency:



  • Streamline and optimize commercial and marketing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in serving the retail segment.

  • Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance operational workflows, customer interactions, and data management.


Performance Tracking and Reporting:


  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction, and prepare regular reports for senior management.



  • Use performance data and market feedback to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
