You will provide guidance, training, and support to ensure that all quality assurance activities are carried out effectively and efficiently. You will also identify and address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

 OBJECTIVES OF POSITION    


·       Implementing and maintaining high-quality standards and policies, compliance, and regulatory procedures 


·       Overseeing, managing, and monitoring all quality assurance staff and functions as per the Institution’s internal guidelines and standards and best practices.


·       Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality control systems


·       ensuring that services meet consistent standards of quality, safety, and efficacy.


·       setting and enforcing quality standards and protocols


·       Leading and managing the quality control department, including training and supervising staff across various quality control functions.


·       Collaborating with other department heads to integrate quality control systems into the overall manufacturing and production processes


·       Checks the past records of services to review if the existing standards will continue to bring in more revenue and patients’ satisfaction.


·       Ensure that all procedures within the Institution conform to health and safety regulations, financial policies and legislation


 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES         


·    Overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day implementation of the Quality Assurance Program.


·       Reporting on a regular basis to the CEO on the progress of implementation, and assisting the Senior Management in establishing methods to improve the JFKMC’s efficiency and quality of services, and to reduce the Medical Center’s vulnerability to quality assurance issues.


·       Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures.


·        Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals.


·        Ensure that all products and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.


·        Work closely with other departments to identify and address quality issues.


·        Implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


·        Monitor and report on quality performance metrics.


·        Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.


·        Provide training and support to quality assurance team members.


·        Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.


·        Develop and maintain quality documentation and records.


·        Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.


·        Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.


·        Develop and implement risk management strategies.


·        Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.


·        Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.


·        Develop and manage quality assurance budgets.


·        Communicate quality performance and improvement plans to senior management.


·        Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.


·        Ensure that quality assurance activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.


·        Develop and implement quality training programs for employees.


·       Administer quality assurance management systems.


·       Ensure all services produced or marketed by a Institution are free from any flaws or errors.


·       Evaluate and improve QA processes.


·       Train line staff.


·       Identify possible errors and areas of improvement.


·       Maximize output and efficiency.


·       Isolate and remove malfunctioning equipment.


·       Schedule equipment testing and maintenance.


·       Critical skills for analyzing data with a keen eye for monitoring granular level details.


·       Able to detect anomalies and guide the team on how to resolve them, along with formulating a resolution strategy.


·       Ensures all QA tools are fully utilized and knowledge is properly transferred.


·       Creates and maintains reports on Quality metrics.


·       Executes project plans and revises them as appropriate to meet changing requirements.


·        Interacts with all involved stakeholders to coordinate release plans.


 DELIVERABLES


·       Ensures quality standards are met by planning, monitoring, and identifying gaps and giving solutions.


·       Attends industry workshops/seminars and stays up-to-date with professional publications.


·       Reaches financial goals by creating the quality assurance budget, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.


·       Contributes to team effort by motivating and mentoring them as and when required.


·       Develops, reviews, and publishes standards, policies, and procedures for all functions involved with or related to quality and testing.


·       Develop internal Institution’s policies and see that they are respected


·       Report to management concerning the Institution’s quality assurance compliance with laws and regulations


·       Take action in dealing with non-quality assurance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them 


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS –MIX AND COMPETENCIES EDUCATION


·       Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related fields


EXPERIENCE


·       3 – 5 years’ proven experience in quality assurance management


·       Proven track record of leading and managing quality assurance teams.


·        Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
