Job Summary

The Protection and Control Coordinator is responsible for safeguarding all stakeholders, including staff, products, and assets. This role involves implementing and overseeing security policies, procedures, and resources to meet both short-term and long-term protection demands for Mantrac Liberia.

Job Description

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


·        Manage and enforce security protocols to protect confidential information and documents.


·        Oversee overall operations and monitor access control, intrusion detection, and other security systems


·        Ensure subordinate activities comply with legal and international asset protection standards. o Assist in the development, delivery, and management of protection programs.


·        Maintain up-to-date records of security activities, including patrol logs, visitor logs, vehicle logs, and equipment logs.


·        Investigate and report security breaches, injuries, or theft incidents at Mantrac and Delta branches.


·        Follow-up on the implementation of the planned security systems projects


·        Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures


·        Analyse data for continuous improvements.


·        Establish and maintain strong relationships with management, employees, customers, service providers, industry groups, and other stakeholders.


·        Provide professional-level assistance with the development, delivery, and management of security.


·        Conduct regular walk-throughs and security inspections at all branches.


·        Conduct continuous supervision of Security Guards assigned and ensure that Mantrac Liberia ltd, access control procedures are properly implemented.


·        Ensure up-to-date Records of contractor attendance and post coverage for monthly submission to Management and ensure that such records are properly filed.


·        Ensure up-to-date records of the Guards patrol and other relevant activities are logged and kept (Visitors Logs VMS, Vehicle logs, Equipment In/out logs etc.)


·        Ensure Security Guards are familiar with and conduct duties in accordance with Mantrac Liberia security policies, procedures and security systems.


·        Immediate response to security systems alarms, and report justification to Management.


·        Assign daily duties to security personnel, through the contractor representative where applicable and ensure posts are manned at all times.


·        Prepare and submit daily operational report to Group Protection Team.


SKILLS:


 • Experience using relevant technology and equipment in security control (Control Room Operation)


• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning


• In-depth knowledge of security protocols and procedures


• Good analytical skills for budgeting and statistical data analysis


• Working Knowledge of MS Office Applications


 • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills


 • Strong organizational and leadership abilities


• Very good in English (both written and spoken)


KNOWLEDGE IN: Security Systems (Physical Security-CCTV-Access Control-Intrusion-Vehicle Tracking – etc.)


Personality Traits: leadership personality, Friendly and professional demeanor to effectively manage workplace interactions.


QUALIFICATIONS: High-level education (bachelor’s degree)


Working Hours: 8 Hours per day


 Working Days: 5 Days per week


 REPORTS TO: BU Managing Director
