Responsibilities:
Mission: To competently carry out the following:
Manage all aspects of human resources within an organization, ensuring the workforce is aligned with organizational goals and that employees are engaged, motivated, and productive.
Professionally manage recruitment and onboarding to employee development, performance management, working professionally with union employees and ensuring legal compliance at all levels. In accordance with the above, the professional Human Resources Manager shall assume the following
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MA1: Guarantee the availability of necessary Human Resources for each department in terms of the quantity and quality within legal and social requirements by: (20%)
Ensuring that the human resource needs of the departments are anticipated and planned for;
Ensuring that the right calibre of staff is identified and sourced for the company;
Ensuring establishment of defined job descriptions for jobs incumbents;
Ensuring that newly recruited employees are well integrated into the Company.
MA2: Guarantee the implementation of an equitable, competitive, motivating and coherent remuneration policy within legal and social requirements by: (20%)
Ensuring the existence of Conditions of Service for all categories of employees
Proposing the key elements of the remuneration policy;
Driving the key performance indicators informed by Benchmarking;
Negotiating with the National (and local) Unions;
Monitoring the right application of the policy.
MA3: Guarantee the training and development of all categories of Staff for continuous growth of the Company by; (20%)
Leading in the formulation of a Training and Development policy to meet the needs of individuals and departments.
Guiding the career growth of identified talents.
Ensuring the establishment of a Succession Plan towards organization renewal.
Ensuring business Continuity and career management.
MA4: Guarantee the Safety and good Health of all categories of employees in the Company by: (20%)
Leading in the formulation and implementation of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies;
Liaising with appropriate Government agencies to promote and maintain high EHS standards;
Ensuring employee participation in EHS program of the Company.
MA5: Guarantee the Sustainable Development adherence and Communication to all categories of employees in the Company and other stakeholders by: (20%)
Leading in the implementation of social responsibilities.
Liaising with appropriate agencies to promote and maintain adherence to social charters in camps and communities
Ensuring the establishment of accommodation policy to address accommodation issues per standard.
Ensuring timely and effective internal communication within the Company to promote information flow.
Technical competencies:
Time Management, Budget Control, Interpersonal Management, Knowledge in Labor Law Knowledge in Industrial Relation, Negotiation skill, Conflict Management, Computer Skills, Supervisory Skills, Good Presentation Skills, Empathetic etc.
