Heavy Equipment Superintendent

Responsibilities

The Heavy Equipment Superintendent shall be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
- Ensuring that Heavy-Duty Vehicles and Equipment are in good working condition, operating efficiently, and being used safely.
- Creating and managing schedules for preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
- Managing equipment inventories which include tracking vehicles, equipment, parts,
supplies, and other resources needed for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations this includes safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and providing training to employees to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems using computerized method with ET & Tech Tools
- Repairing, scheduling, assigning technicians and following up on repairs
- Evaluating engine performance and fluid level
- Supervising Graduate Mechanic work and assisting them where necessary.
- Monitoring in-flow & out-flow of Vehicles for the Garage

Working Conditions:
