The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to the canteens or organization's menu with quality standards. They ensure food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Cooking:
 Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipe standards.
 Ensure food presentation, taste, and portion sizes meet company standards.
 Modify recipes to meet customers’ dietary needs when required.
2. Kitchen Operations & Hygiene:
 Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
 Follow food safety regulations, including proper food storage, handling, and sanitation.
 Monitor ingredient freshness and quality.
3. Inventory & Supplies Management:
 Track food stock and report shortages.
 Assist in ordering and receiving kitchen supplies.
4. Equipment Maintenance:
 Ensure kitchen appliances and tools are properly maintained.
 Report any kitchen equipment malfunctions.
5. Collaboration & Communication:
 Work closely with waitstaff to ensure timely service.
 Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow.
